Every Saturday night i always tell the older children to make sure they have all there clothes, socks and shoes ready for church in the morning and i ask them to get the younger ones clothes and socks and shoes ready for the morning and of course they roll their eyes and say "yes ok, ok we will..." so i went off and carried on cleaning/cooking and whatever else needed doing and thought nothing more about getting all the stuff ready for the next morning.
But every Sunday morning i have the same problem - little kids with odd socks and/or odd shoes!!!
It is like a military operation trying to get all the kids out of the door looking half decent, with clean clothes, combed hair....and matching socks and shoes! Even though we shouldn't be bothered about what other people think of us but it doesn't mean we can take the kids to church looking scruffy with odd socks and straggly hair...
I'm sure other familys have the same problem as we do!
